Installation and How The Owens Corning Rapid Flow™ Gutter Drainage Protection System Works
Why This Gutter Guard Works so Well:
As the photo above shows the filter is in the shape of a triangle, the coated side goes up on top, this is next to impossible to install upside down. The filter is easily installed under the spikes or hidden hangers, the pieces come in 4 foot sections and slide smoothly into the gutter.
Once this Gutter Guard is in place the top of the entire gutter is sealed off only allowing water to enter through the small holes in the filter, leaves and other small debris slide off the top of the gutter on a slightly breezy day.

Maintenance:
First and foremost there is no perfect system every gutter protection system has maintenance that is required for it to work at optimum levels. I have been cleaning gutters for over 25 years and know the issues with every system on the market. I never recommended any systems to my customers until I found the filter gutter guards a few years back, now this is all I recommend.
The Owens Corning Rapid Flow™ Gutter Drainage Protection Gutter Guard has very little maintenance that needs done, if you live in an area with small seedlings falling from the trees sometimes depending on the amount falling onto the filter if you notice the filter not handling heavy rain then you can either blow, brush or hose off the top of the filter.
The other area that collects leaves and debris is the valley area with splash guards installed. At the end of the season clean out that small corner by brushing off or hosing the product off.
The advantage of this system is the majority of the seedlings will not enter the gutter like other gutter cover systems and removing the build up is fast and easy.
