This works so well because 6 inch gutters are normally used because of the high flow of water coming off the roof and unlike other systems water will not shoot off your gutters like gutter covers, next time you are at a home show and you see some of the gutter cover companies and there display ask if you can dump a cup of water on the roof to increase the little water they have on the display, this is done with so little water because water will shoot off the cover if the flow is increased (I know I have tried it).
Our system doesn’t have this problem because this filter is in the gutter not on top, water can’t overflow the gutter unless the downspout stops working.
